St Patrick’s Arva GAA Club: Lotto: The Arva Football Club Lotto draw was held in the Clubrooms on Tuesday last 15th March 2016. The Jackpot was €3,900. Numbers drawn – 5 / 11 / 15 / 27 – no winner. €50 winners – Brian Mulligan, Ballinamuck. Phil Brady, Arva. The Jackpot on Tuesday night last 22nd March 2016 was €4,000. Lotto Envelopes can be left in the Letterbox in St Patrick’s Hall next to the National School for collection prior to the draw. We appeal to Club Members and thee wider public to support the Lotto each week as the club are trying to raise funds for their new development and all support is much appreciated
Cake Sale: The Arva GAA Juvenile Club held a very successful Cake Sale on St Patrick’s Day in Donnelly’s Butchers and they thank everyone for their support.
Cavan Senior Team welcome Laois to Kingspan Breffni Park on this Sunday where another win would set up a big clash with Galway in the last game which would then probably be a promotion clash. After so much success at underage level the Senior team would seem to have come of age and these past few wins were well merited. Hopefully there will be a good attendance to cheer on the players. Best of luck to our own Ciaran Brady and all his teammates – the future is blue.

Lavey 2 Lourdes: A number of Cyclist’s are taking on the challenge to Cycle from Lavey to Lourdes on Sunday 15th May to raise funds for the Kilmore Pilgrimage. If you would like to support this venture Sponsorship Cards are out and all contributions will be gratefully appreciated. The Cyclists hope to be in Lourdes to meet the Kilmore Pilgrimage when it arrives on 27th May.
Lourdes: The annual Kilmore Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place this year from 27th May to 1st June flying from Belfast International Airport. Bookings should be made as soon as possible – because places are limited – through the Kilmore Pastoral Centre, Cullies, Cavan (St Patrick’s College) or Tel 049 4375 004 – Office hours are 10.00 am to 1.00 pm Monday to Friday. Bingo: The weekly Bingo sessions continue every Sunday night in St Patrick’s Hall, Arva with a great attendance. There is €3,290-00 in prize money to be won every night – the best around. If you’re not in you can’t win. Eyes down 8.30 pm.
